Zinaida Z. Serebriakova Selected Works

Zinaida Yevgenyevna Serebryakova (1884-1967) went down in the history of 20th century art as an outstanding master of portraits, landscapes and paintings on peasant themes. Although the artist spent most of her life abroad, her best works were created in her homeland. Considering Serebryakova’s work in connection with the traditions of Russian and world culture, the author emphasizes its national originality and humanism. The album contains 131 color illustrations.
